Viscous = टास्सिने किसिमको Plastic is a viscous when it melts (प्लास्टिक पग्लदा टासिन्छ ।

Whimsical = अनौठो, काल्पनिक These babies do not sleep unless the mother tells a whimsical story आमाले अनौठौ किसिमका कथा नभनुन्जेल यी वच्चाहरू सुत्दैनन ।

Yield = उत्पादित परिमाण  An experienced farmer can estimate his annual yield  एक अनुभवि किसानले आफ्नो वार्षिक उत्पादन सहजै अनुमान गर्नसक्तछ ।

Zoophyte = विरुवा जस्तो देखिने सामुन्द्रिक प्राणीहरू The ever increasing pollution in the ocean might affect the zoophytes  महासमुन्द्रमा वढदै गएको प्रदुषणले विरुवा जस्ता देखिने सामुन्द्रिक प्राणीहरूलाई असर गर्न सक्तछ ।

Admonish = चेतावनि दिनु Before firing, a good boss admonishes his assistant and advises him to correct himself एक राम्रो हाकिमले आफ्नो सहायकको जागरि खोस्नु अघिनै सप्रोस भनेर एक पटक चेतावनि दिई सुध्रिने सल्लाह दिन्छ ।

Boorish = असभ्य, असंवेदनशीलFor his boorish behavior, even his wife has lost respect for him उस्को असभ्य ब्यवहारले गर्दा आफ्नै स्वास्नीले पनि सम्मान गर्न छाडी सकिन ।

Caustic = पोल्ने वा घोच्ने किसिमको The critic's caustic remark made his novel even more popular समालोचकको तिखो आलोचनाले त झन उसको उपन्यासलाई वढि लोकप्रिय वनाइदियो ।

Denigrate = कालो वनाउनु । चरित्र हत्या गर्नु His every attempt to denigrate the character of his boss failed  आफ्नो हाकिमको चरित्रहत्या गर्ने उसका हरेक प्रयास असफल भएकाछन् ।

Elegy =. विरहि गित वा कविता On the death of the beloved leader, the renowned musician composed an elegy आफ्नो पिय्र नेताको मृत्युमा प्रख्यात संगितकारले विरहि गित रचना गरे ।

Felicitous = मिलाएर भन्न जान्ने । अभिब्यक्ति वा शब्द चयन गर्न जान्नेकला  He is always chosen as master of ceremony for his felicitous abilit शब्द वा अभिब्यक्ति चयन गरी वोल्न जान्ने उनको योग्यताले गर्दा सभा सम्मेलन संचालन गर्ने काममा सधैजसो उनीनै छानिन्छन् ।

Hand बाट के के कुरा भन्न सकिन्छ थाहपाई राख्नुहोस

Hand something to somebody = सुम्पनु, हस्तान्तरण गर्नु  Please hand the book to me त्यो किताव मलाइ हस्तान्तरण गर । 

Hand round something = पालैपालो गरिदिनु He handed round the biscuits one by one उस्ले पालैपालो गरी हरेकलाई विस्कुट वितरण गर्यो ।

Hand down = प्रयोग गर्न दिनु I like to hand down all my clothes to my younger brother म मेरा सबै लुगा मेरो सानो भाईलाई प्रयोग गर्न दिन्छु ।

Hand something in  = बुझाउनु I just handed in my examination paper  मैले जांचको कपि भर्खरै बुझाए ।   

Hand something on =  पुराउनु Hand these magazines on to your friends  यी पत्रिकाहरु तिम्रा साथीहरु को मा पुराइदेउ ।  

Hand something  out =  वितरण गर्नु This week we hand out rations to flood victims यो हप्ता हामी वाढी पिडितहरुलाई राशन वितरण गर्छौ  । 

Hand over = जिम्मा दिनु As chairman I should hand over my authority to my deputy अध्यक्षको नाताले उपाध्यक्षलाई मैले मेरो काम गर्ने जिम्मा दिनु पर्छ  ।
