Quaint = पुरानो ढाँचाको, परम्परागत There are still families that encourage the wearing of quaint clothes by the bridegroom during wedding ceremony अझै पनि यस्ता परिवार छन् जसले विवाहोत्सवमा दुलाहालाई परम्परागत लुगा लगाउन प्रोत्साहन गर्दछन् ।

Voyeur  = लुकीछिपी हेर्ने व्यक्ति They called Gopal a voyeur as they found him aiming at the bedroom of the neighbours by the binaculars दुर्बिनले छिमेकीको घरको सुत्ने कोठाभित्र हेर्न खोजेको देखेर तिनीहरूले गोपाललाई लुकीछिपी हेर्ने व्यक्तिको रुपमा दर्ज गरे ।

Wrath  = क्रोध She turned wrath as she was paid much less than she had expected आशा गरेका भन्दा धेरै थोरै पाएकोमा तिनी क्रोधित बनिन् ।

Appease = कसैलाई केही दिएर शान्त पार्नु, फुल्याउनु She always tries to appease her baby by giving toys तिनी सधैं आफ्नो बच्चालाई खेलौना दिएर फुल्याउन खोज्छिन् ।

Broach = समावेश गर्नु Many political parties opposed the government as it decided to broach religion in the school विद्यालयको पाठ्यक्रममा धर्मलाई समावेश गर्ने सरकारी निर्णयको सबै विपक्षीहरूले विरोध गरे ।

Give something to somebody =  कसैलाई केहिकुरा दिनु He gave a pen to me yesterday उस्ले मलाई हिजो एउटा कलम दियो ।

Give somebody for =  केहिको लागि कसैलाई दिनु  He gave me a chocolate for my birthday  जन्मदिनको लागि उस्ले मलाइ एउटा चकलेट दियो ।

Give something to  =     कसैलाई केहि दिनु She gives money for charity every year  हरेक वर्ष तिन्ले चन्दाको  रुपमा केहि दान दिन्छिन ।

Give something at  = पेश गर्नु  I have no evidence to give at trial अदालतमा पेश गर्ने मसंग कुनै प्रमाण छैन ।

Give lift to somebody  = गाडिमा लगिदिनु Yesterday she gave me a lift as far as my office हिजो तिन्ले मलाई कार्यालयसम्मै गाडिमा लगिदिइन ।

Give lesson to  = पढाउनु To earn extra money my daughter gives private lessons अतिरिक्त आयको लागि मेरी छोरीले घरमै पढाउने गर्छिन  । 

Give name to  = नाम राख्नु I do not want to give any English name  to my child म मेरो वच्चालाई कुनै अंग्रेजी नाम राख्न चहान्न । 

Give priority to = प्राथमिकता दिनु He gives always top priority to underpriveleged people उस्ले सधै सुविधाविहिन ब्यक्तिहरुलाई उच्च प्राथमिकता दिन्छ ।
