अंग्रेजी शब्दावलीको ज्ञान बढाऔं

Coda = संगित वा साहित्यक रचनाको अंतिम सार वा सकिने बेलाको प्रस्तुति I like the coda of this very music because it is very distinctive मलाई यो संगितको अन्तिम अंश ज्यादै मनपर्दछ किनकि यो आफ्नै किसिमको छ ।
Diatribe = नमिठो गाली । तिखो आलोचना It is his quality to remain calm even during the diatribe of the opposition members  विपक्षी सांसदहरूको तिखो आलोचना र नमिठो गाली सुनेर पनि शान्त रहन सक्नु उस्को गुण हो ।

Imperturbable = शान्त, छिट्टै जोशमा नआउन,े धैर्यवान  An imperturbable leader always has full command of the situation एक धैर्यवान नेताले परिस्थितिलाई सधै आफ्नो नियन्त्रणमा राखेको हुन्छ ।
Jibe= अमिल्दो Ram says that Shyam danced very well last night but Shyam says it was not him rather Ram who danced very well. The sayings of these two do not jibe राम भन्छ श्यामले हिजो वेलुकि धेरै राम्रो नाच्यो भनेर तर श्यामचाहि आफूले होइन रामले पो राम्रो नाच्यो भन्छ । यी दुईको कथन एक अर्कासंग अमिल्दो छ ।
Kudos =  सम्मान, प्रशंसा । श्रेय  She does most of the work but kudos goes to her hasband काम जति सबै तिनी गर्दछिन तर श्रेय र सम्मान भने सधै उन्को पतिले पाउछन् । 
Libel=  अर्काको मानहानी वा गाली वेइज्जती हुने किसिमको वक्तब्य, लेखाई वा भनाइ The trader sued the journalist for libeling him to have adulterated the food खानेकुरामा मिसावट गर्यो भनेर गाली वेइजति गरेकोमा ब्यपारीले पत्रकार विरुध्द मुध्दा दायर गरिदिए ।
Hold = बाट के के कुरा भन्न सकिन्छ थाहपाई राख्नुहोस
Hold somebody off= रोक्नु Although our soldiers were very few they held easly the enemy off संख्यामा हाम्रा सिपाहीहरु थोरै भएता पनि शत्रुहरुलाई उनीहरुले सजिलै रोके । 
Hold something off = नतेर्साउनु They did not hold the gun off even after ceasefire अस्थाथी रुपमा युध्द वन्द गर्ने भनेता पनि उनीहरुले वन्दुक तेर्साउन छाडेनन । 
Hold on= लम्ब्याउनु Do not hold on your discussion as such any more कुनै हालतमा पनि तिमीहरुको यस्तो छलफलाई नलम्ब्याउनु   । 
Hold something on = अड्याउनु These nust and bolts help hold the wheel on  यी पेचकिलाहरुले पांग्रालाई अड्याउन मध्दत गर्छ । 
Hold something on=  नचिप्लनु  thease shose help yourself hold even on slippy rock यी जुत्ताहरुले तिमी आफुलार्ई चिप्लो चट्टानमा नचिप्लन सघाउछ । 
Hold on to somthing =  आधिपत्य हुनु  As ling as you live in this house you must hold onto it यो घरमा तिमी वसुञ्जेल तिम्रो आधिपत्य हुनै पर्छ । 
Hold out =  हुनु We can saty here so long as our supplies hold out  खानेकुराको आपूर्ति होउञ्जेल हामी यहि वस्न सक्छौ ।    
Hold out = नफेरी वस्नु  Can you hold out much longer ? च्यापेको अवस्थामा पनि तिमी पिशाव नफेरी लामो समय वस्न सक्छौ ?   
Hold somthing out = मौका दिनु   this assembly can hold out hope for the real arm reduction  यो भेला हतियारको प्रयोग साच्चैनै कम गर्ने कुराको लागि एक राम्रो मौका हुन सक्छ   ।   
Hold out for something = लम्बिनु The negotiation is holding out for a sallary hike तलव वृध्दिको कुरामा केन्द्रित हुदा वार्ता लम्विरहेको छ ।
